Case
Solved
Thanks to Mike Concannon and Douglas Herdson for their efforts
in solving this mystery.
Dear
Alan
This
an Angular Crab Goneplax rhomboides. They live in sand or
mud burrows at depths from 8 to 80 metres, they are not
uncommon but are seldom seen.
If
it is not too much trouble I should be grateful for more
information on where the pouting was caught. Date, position,
depth etc are most helpful. If it is any help I have attached
a copy of my report sheet. Please do keep in touch and let
me know of anything else of interest you come across, I
rely entirely on interested people like yourselves to build
up our database and finding out what changes are happening.
regards,
Doug
