I have included this page because when we are out at sea and a commercial fishing boat happen's along, the question I am most likley to be asked is "Where are they from Skip?" well, as you can see, there are plenty of 'them' and I can only remember a few of the local or regular one's that fish our patch. We often see Scottish pair trawler's down here during the winter month's, (chasing the Bass, and or the Mackeral) or boat's from anywhere around our coasts, including the Channel Island's. So if you are one of the interested one's, or would just like a reference, here are the registration letter's all commercial fishing boat's should show. If they are fishing commercially, (selling fish) and do not have a registration number painted on the side of their boat, they are fishing illegally.
